Lizett Romero

My name is Lizett Romero and I am a Behavior Interventionist for Aspire Tate Academy. I am a current student at Arizona State University and pursuing a Master’s degree in Special Education. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family. I have a teenage daughter and husband that keep me extremely busy outside of being an educator. I have been in education for over 10 years and love teaching and learning new things alongside my students.

Brianna Richards

My name is Brianna A. Richards and this is my sixth year at Tate. I am EXTRA excited to see our Tate community in person! This year I will be working with Kindergarten through third and fourth grade students. I look forward to using everything we learned during Distance Learning to make this year an amazing learning year for our community. I was born and raised in South LA – growing up just three miles from our school. I attended Marist College in upstate New York for my undergraduate degrees. Last summer, I graduated from graduate school at UCLA! When I am not teaching I am cooking and baking new recipes, often for your teachers to try. I enjoy poetry, audiobooks, and spending time with my friends and family having game nights and exploring new places. I am excited to reconnect and make new memories with our Aspire Tate community!

Malkia Lacey

Hi! My name is Ms. Lacey. I am a graduate of Dillard University, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I had always wanted to be a Psychologist or Counselor while attending college. Yet, after the journey which led me here to Aspire Tate Academy, I have decided to pursue teaching. Here at Tate I teach 1st grade and I love it!

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and singing in my church choir. I am very compassionate and love to help others. Moreover, I am passionate about what I do here at Tate and I will continue to do my best to inspire, encourage, and motivate my students to reach their goals.

GOOOOOOO TATE!!!!!!!!!!!!
