Brianna Richards

Educational Specialist (K-4)

Bio

My name is Brianna A. Richards and this is my fourth year at Tate. This year I will be working with Kindergarten through Third Grade students in ELA. I am very excited to collaborate and co-teach with the K-3 teachers. I am also excited to work with students with to become capable readers, writers, speakers and listeners in daily life. I enjoy learning about and using new and creative instructional practices to meet ALL student learning needs.

I am from South LA and currently live just two miles away from school. I went all the way to New York to attend Marist College for my undergraduate degrees. I loved my time in New York and enjoy going back to visit when I can. I recently started graduate school at UCLA for my Masters degree.

When I am not teaching I am baking and spending time with friends and family. I love having game nights with my friends and family. I love getting to know others on a personal level and making connections.

I cannot wait for all the learning and growth that ALL Tate Cheetahs will make this year!
